Trip Overview

Bhairav Kunda Trek – is a spiritual trek lying towards to the northeast of Kathmandu valley near to the Nepal-Tibet boarder and next right to Panch Pokhari. As Bhairav Kunda Trek takes you to the sacred pilgrimage site of Bhairav Kunda. This trek can categorized as pilgrimage trek. Bhairav Kunda means a holy lake named after a destructive name of lord Shiva the “Bhairav”in Sanskrit. Bhairav kunda trek provides you the opportunity to experience unique Shamanistic culture prevalent complemented by excellent mountain views. Furthermore, you can enjoy memorizing scenic walk in the off the beaten wilderness path. Moreover, Our ascent through Pine and Rhododendron forest with unusual climatic. The great geographical mix brings us to Bhariav Kunda Lake.  Finally, This trek lets you experience sacred pilgrimage site  with historical evidence.

Itinerary

We will meet you at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu..

After breakfast, you will leave for a full day sightseeing tour around the Kathmandu valley. You can pay your homage visiting center of pilgrimage Pashupatinath Temple (for Hindus) and Swyambhunath (for Buddhists). These are very ancient and historical pride of Nepal importantly enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage sites. The biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhnath and the fine arts and historical architecture of Kathmandu Durbar Square reflects the uniqueness and diversity in Nepalese culture. On journey back to hotel, you can travel around the local areas, gullies and lifestyle. Overnight in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, drive from Kathmandu with some mountain views takes us towards the Tibetan Border. After about 3 hours you get up to a town called Balephi where you turn off the main road. Overnight in jalbire.

After breakfast, It is straight walk from Jalbire to Chanaute.On the way we will pass through some small Tamang villages and a stunning waterfall. Chanaute is a small Brahmin and Chettri Village . There are some splendid views of Jugal Himal from the campsite, looking up the narrow valley.

After breakfast, . There is a more challenging day’s walk, with some steep uphill on small walking trails, stopping for welcome rests and to enjoy the beautiful views. We’ll be inspired though by the stunning villages, terraced fields, streams and the excitement of passing local schools where we are quite an attraction.
Overnight in Khani Gaon.

After breakfast, we will see culture and tradition of this interesting and picturesque Newar Village. This village was founded after the battle between Gorkha and Bhaktapur in the middle of 18th B.S, when the people of Bhaktapur fled to this site. Overnight in Khani Gaon.

After breakfast, It is a steep walk through beautiful Rhododendron forest and the occasional grazing pasture, where you can see nomad houses for cattle. Overnight in camp.

After breakfast, We continue our ascent through Pine and Rhododendron forest for about 4 hours. When you reach Pati you can see some of the houses made by pilgrims and also have a glorious mountain view. Overnight in camp.

After breakfast, we walk through the Bhairav Kunda. Bhairav Kunda is a stunning holy lake (Kunda means ‘lake’) and a small temple of lord Shiva and there is lake where thousand of people used to come to visit. Overnight in Kunda.

After breakfast, walk up hill for about one and a half hours to the top to see the sun rise and Mountain View of Langtang, Jugal Himal Range, Rolwaling Range and Tibetan Range. After this awesome morning treat we will trek down steeply through stunning forest to Sherpa Gaon (village). Overnight in Sherpa Gaon.

After breakfast. we move toward through the Bhote Khoshi River, which is also called Larcha. A walk of about 30 minutes takes to the natural hot spring where we can take a hot shower. We will return back to Larcha. Overnight in Larcha.

After breakfast,We board our bus and it will take us about six hours through stunning scenery to drive back to Kathmandu. If you would like enjoy more, you can take part in bungee jumping at the Last Resort or enjoy rafting at the Bhote Koshi River). Overnight in Kathmandu

After breakfast, you can enjoy your free day and can do some shopping for your friends, beloved person and family. You will have typical nepali dinner at tonight. Overnight in Kathmandu.

After breakfast. We will transfer to the International airport for your departure.
